Una cinta con una narración apenas desarrollada que irradia sencillez durante su corto metraje, película de grotescos trazos compensados con un abundante colorido y que sólo apunta a dejar el claro mensaje de superación de las diferencias y aceptación del individuo distinto. Vencidas por el vuelo de Dumbo las envidias de los payasos, los chismes de las elefantas y las burlas de los cuervos, allí el elefantito "freak" puede sentirse realmente valorado gracias al apoyo incondicional del entrañable ratoncito que servirá de guía para no bajar los brazos ante las dificultades propias de quien nace distinto.
